Question about 2005 Nissan Pathfinder
I have a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder. There is an irratating clicking noise that seems to be coming from front and underneath car. Usually when I am going slow it can be heard easily. I've already had wheels and rims checked, no problems. Could it be the axle?
Steering knuckle/CV joint....could be the spindle bearings also.
The easiest way to find out is to jack the front of the vehicle up off the ground. Sit in front of one of the tires. Reach out with your arms to the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock position and grab the tire. Now, try to wiggle it side to side. There should be almost no play. If it wiggles or is sloppy....cv joints.
It's not the tires though as you have already posted.
