Is the cluster completely dead or is it a problem with the gauges only? If the entire cluster is dead it could be a cracked circuit board.Another posibility is a bad ground. This is known to occur in the 99-02 Silverado clusters and the 03-06's but not as many.

Where does the voltage come from for the dashboard gauges grand caravan 2003. Have no gauges Checked fuses and relays all are good. Looked over wiring diagrams but looked like computers are together.

Do the light's on the instrument cluster work ? Fuse #24 - 20 amp location intergrated power module , under hood fuse box . Probably the instrument cluster it's self is bad , but without testing that would be a guess . Hooking up a factory or professional scan tool to view input's to the instrument cluster would be the proper way to diagnose. Gauge info to the Instrument come's over PCI serial data bus . A communication network for the control modules on the vehicle . Gauge info. come's from the PCM - powertrain control module. Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop ,dealer etc....

1982 s10 dash cluster wire harness looking for 12v source for fuel gauge or wires for fuel gauge

As long as it is ignition feed, it goes hot with the key on. The circuit is dead with the key off. It should work.
There may be a gage fuse in your fuse box? As long as the circuit is dead with the key off.
I don't have wiring info for your model year.

Temp gage gas gage dashlights don't work

Check all your fuses make sure they're good. This can also come from bad ignition switch or ignition switch going out

All gauges on cluster are dead?

no year stated, a 1993? Why must we guess this?
the cluster has 2 fuses, so .. check them yet?
and clust self test mode, you can do. (ask )
all gauges and most warning lamps.
say all that is dead, and what i not dead, for x10 better answers.

most poster assume all cars are the same
or all years,or even all engines are the same.
and is why most answers are wrong, mine too.
but all this is PAR,on fixya,,,,,,

Manual says that if the airbag light is on, it can cause all of the gauges on the IP to quit working. It says to check Fuse #22.. Fuse is ok. Any suggestions?

cab fuse or engine bay fuse? JB or PDC box?
no not true.
so why not post what the car does good and bad.
car runs perfectly and shifts ? all that.
all other light in car work? radio, etc.
with parking lights on does cluster glow? (back ground illumination?)
the cluster warning lights are dead , all are dead?
are all gauges, dead too? if some are say what? are dead.?
fuel , and engine heat?

the fsm is free.with full docs and schematics, lets look together now.
WJ jeep 95
click wiring (at end)
chapter 8w-40-1
volt meter in hand.

see that page?
page 2 to 9 is cluster "instruments "
PDC fuse 17 (engine bay) is PDC
and cab JB fuse 10

so 22 is bogus. there is no fuse 22 (usa car)
there is fuse 22 terminal. on fuse 9 and fuse 21>?
forget terminals, we do fuses real names,

first off, the cluster is a computer, im not privy to its programming,
(is anyone?)
but it must communicate to the PCM or its will fail, on the canbus
so turn on ignition (car battery charged to 12.6vdc rested)
all warning lights come one.
if not the cluster is not happy, this is a selft tests. of lamps.
the fuse posted above are the only fuses for it. PDC 17 and JB10
we use a scan tool next to be sure the PDC is not barfing comm errors. first. (or DTCs stating power loss)

read the manual above
see the correct fuses for cluster
see that it is a computer with comm lines.
if those 2 pins on the cluster are12vdc key on then that is not the problem and the ground pin on cluster is at 0v, not 12v.

fuse 5 and 9 run (JB) run air bag computer box.

this is power to the cluster below, 8w-40--2
the whole cluster runs off those 4 power pins, if power is lost
the cluster brain goes dead. the left pin below is memory pin.
right top is main power. to cluster.

25449976-rfzsrgdtqaicmpcrwkc1npqq-2-0.jpg if this is good
a scan tool is necessary to move on.
just like all cars with CanBUS, ,
an innova 3140 works. good.

No power to instrument cluster

Hello, I would look in the Owners Manual for the fuse that controls the gauges. These are usually combined with low demand items like a glovebox light. I am thinking a 5 AMP fuse. Since there are only a few low AMP fuses in the fusebox, you may be able to pull all 2 or 3 fuses and check them for a burn-out.

This Fixya site is suppose to have a Diagrams section, but sometimes entering what you want on a WEB search will get you your information. There are many pay-sites for this info, so you will have to weed them out to get the info free. Just enter something like 2003 Trailblazer fusebox photos or diagrams.

Fuel gauge, speedometer, and temp gauge quit on my 99 chevy s10 after lightning struck highway 10feet in front of me what could be the problem all fuses are good

Wow, frightening, hope you are alright-check fuses and relays, the overload caused by the lightning strike may have blown one of these. Check harnesses and wiring to the gauge pod, worst case you might need to find another on ebay or at a local junkyard.

Instrument panel went dead

Checked Every fuse in the fuse box (no small task). This includes #4 - Power point Instrument Panel, #14 - Day time running lamps (auto lamps doesn't work nor does auto lock), #27 - ignition switch run feed, #35 - Instrument Cluster, #41 - Instrument Cluster, #42 - Delayed Accessory, #45 - Ignition switch run/start feed, #102 - Door locks body security module, #103 - Ignition switch, #110 - Ignition switch, & #116 - Ignition switch. But I also check all other ones as well, they all register OK. AC panel & radio work. Turn signals work. Mileage does not work, trip computer does. So, basically, everything works except auto head-lights, auto locks, and the dash cluster (no MPH, RPM, mileage display, Fuel, Temp, Tran Temp, and Oil Pressure).

If the instrument cluster is getting battery voltage, then this means that the instrument cluster needs to be replaced. Only availible at the dealer.
