A flashing mil (malfunction indicate lamp) means the computer has detected a misfire. whether random or specific, you'll have to get the code read. autozone, aamoco do it for free

try the air filter first and the intake.the spark plugs then and after all go to a garage for checking compression timing and the head gasket.

I would have the body computer scanned for trouble codes. A basic code reader may not access the body computer.

Flashing amber engine light why and how do i fix it please

Your computer is reading engine knock. Do not drive under hard conditions. You need to have it check out by a mechanic.

Hey i bought a 05 focus on monday, they said it was fully serviced. this evening on my way home the engine light started flashing amber and loosing power. when i got home the light just stayed on then......

It could be many things. You need to have it scanned. Unfortunately, there are many things that can go wrong that a regular service will not repair. A scan will tell you what is wrong instantly and is the least expensive place to start.

Warning light focus st170

Pretty much. The temperature is low enough that if your engine is not properly prepared for the cold you could experience engine issues. i.e. Frozen radiator, tube failures and other issues like low viscosity oil which would create lubrication issues and premature pump failure. Best to ensure that your car is wheater ready for the cold. DRRXR :)
