It is located in the middle of the instrument panel behind the center console. It is a tough job to remove.
you will have to remove the larger plastic garnish that goes over the shifter and has center console boxes. You will have to remove the radio and heater controls in the middle of the instrument panel. Then behind that is the big black plastic box is the HV-AC unit and blower. They have to be removed together. It is held together with nuts which are tightened to studs on the firewall. Disconnect all electrical connectors and heater/ventalation control cables. good luck!

Gday, thanks for your reply Re Fan/blower motor thread for my 100 series. I am a bit baffled though, a Toyota dealer only today told me that the fan unit was under the console beneath the glove box and it is susposed to be an easy job to get out, a workshop manual I have for the vehicle fails to detail this. I'm wondering if we are talking about the same instrument?

I stand corrected, Wrong vehicle. You need to remove the glove box and see the attached drawing.

Hope this clears things up for you.

Replacing heater fan please advise access to fan motor

the heater blower motor is located under the dash on the passengers side, there's a single plug with two wires that you have to disconnect then there is three bolts to remove and then remove the blower motor, sometimes there a plastic (or carpeted)cover you have to remove first under the dash to gain access to the blower motor .

My 2001 Voyager blower fan only runs on high.

This is 100% the Blower (Fan) Motor Resistor located near the Blower Motor.
This is a very common problem with Chyrsler, Dodge, Plymouth. The key symptom is the Fan only working on High.
This is very easy to access and replace.

Let me know if this helped....

How do you replace the blower motor on 92 accord wagon - where is it located?

Disconnect the negative battery cable (if you have an anti-theft radio, make sure you have the code).
The blower unit is located in the dash, behind the glove box.
Remove the glove box and the glove box frame(damping screws on the sides and two screws underneath).
If the car isn’t equipped with air conditioning, remove the heater duct between the heater core and the blower assembly housings. Then remove the three blower housing retaining nuts, pull the blower housing out far enough to unplug the electrical connectors (at the lower right edge, right above the kick panel) and remove the blower assembly housing.
If the car has air conditioning, remove the strap bolt, the blower under cover and the three blower housing retaining nuts, then remove the blower assembly as previously described.
If you are replacing the blower motor itself, or either of the blower fan wheels, remove the motor, remove the retaining clip(s) and remove the fan wheel(s).
Reverse procedure to install.
Hope this helps you.

blower resister... as in heater fan ?... if that's what you mean ... look in the duct work near the fan ... you will see a connector going into the side of the duct work and two or three bolts.... remove them and that is the resistor block
