Replacing is easy, you could also buy recon kits and do it yourself. You will feel when it is getting dangerously low, the clutch will take a few pumps to work, good luck

85 hilux 4x4 have no clutch when checking found fluid leaking from rubber boot at the arm pretruding from gear box how do you repair this? cheers roger

bad slave cylinder possible. may even be a bad clutch master cylinder.was leaking from firewall? not bad clutch mastercylinder. was leaking under car on passenger side at front of tranny, but in between motor and tranny where motor bolts to transmission? most likely, bad clutch slave cylinder. having to add brake fluid to clutch master cylinder? having to pump the clutch pedal up to shift gears? either you have a bad clutch slave cylinder[leaking under the car between motor and tranmission] or leaking on firewall [the wall that under dash and under the front window] you may even need a clutch replacement.3 if you need further assistment, repost your question to

My celica clutch does not work and the car will not move. my clutch is real soft what can i do to fix it

your question is confusing.Did you check the clutch master cylinder fluid. so if you can put in gear with the engine off and then crank the car and it moves ok, then replace the clutch master and slave cylinders. If you can put in in gear with the engine running let the pedal off and the car wont move, or it slips bad, then the clutch is bad.

The gears are incredibly sloppy in my toyota celica 90' , some friends have suggested that it is just an adjustment with the clutch, as the clutch is on the floor, where is the adjustment? Imogen

make sure you don't have a leak in the clutch master or slave cylinder on the transmission as that would cause the pedal to go all the way to the floor. Check your clutch fluid level, then go back inside the car and look behind the clutch pedal like up towards the top of the clutch rod right by the firewall. You will see and adjustment nut, although I doubt that the adjustment is the problem. How long have you had this clutch in? You may need to have the clutch replaced.

I have a 1985 supra and the clutch pedal won't go up. What is wrong and how can I fix it?

Sounds like it's probably the Master Cylinder. If it is and you change it, it is a good idea to go ahead and change the slaves as well.

Hope this helps.

I have a 1993 Toyota Celica gt and the clutch peddle drops to the floor when i put my foot on it i was thinking that the clutch line was popped but there was still clutch fluid in the reservoir what would...

your description sounds like master cylinder failure. But, get under the car and see if any action is happening at the slave cylinder, if not replace master and slave.

Where is bleed screw for 92 toy celica clutch? clutch goes all he way down and can not switch gears

The bleed screw should be located on the slave cylinder, near the clutch area, but the problem sounds like no fluid in the system caused by a blown piston cup in either the clutch master cylinder or the slave cylinder, or a hole in the connecting fluid line. Look for fluid leaks from one end to the other. Hope this helps!
