My 1996 Cadillac fleetwood brougham had a leacing radiator so I changed it and now it wont stop overheating any tips?

Hi,

Assuming you replaced the radiator with new or refurbished. You probably need to replace the thermostat. It is usually located on the engine block in a housing at the end of the top radiator hose. Probably just two bolts in the thermostat housing.

Good Luck,
John

My 1994 cadillac Fleetwood brougham power steering pump with electric variable orifice is not working is there a bypass system i could use?

Hi there, sorry to say I do not think so. If the power steering system is specialised, designed for the car, there is unlikely to be another backup system to substitute for it when it breaks.. If the PAS pump is broken then it is a matter of replacing it. Please check the link below for sellers of recycled parts

Or you may want to obtain a new part from a motor factor/parts retailer

  1. Disconnect the wiring harness from the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor.

1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. First it would not shut down when car was turned off. Had to pull the fuse everytime I turned off the vehicle to save the battery. Now blower does not work at all. Was...

I also had a hard time finding the blower motor resistor on my 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham 4 door. In my case it was located under the dash clear to the right side on the passenger side (if you are sitting in the passenger seat it would be directly above your right foot). To be super carefull you should disconnect the battery first. Next remove the plastic cover under the entire dash I think it is a 9/32 to remove the cover. You can now see the blower motor, nextto the blower motor is the blower motor speed control module, it plugs into the air duct for cooling, it is held in the duct work by 2 screws, 9/32 I think. here is a paicture of the part so u can id it faster, but remember it is right next to the blower motor.

1996 fleetwood brougham right turn signal will not cancel automatically. What are the steps necessary to dismantle the SIR and steering wheel/column to install a new turn signal part. Is the hazard switch...

You may have the tools, but you should pay particular attention to the warnings about the air bag. That module contains a very powerful explosive that can activate even with all power removed, and can present a very serious hazard during removal to get at the turn signal assembly. I strongly recommend either letting a pro do it, or at least get the GM service manual for the vehicle and follow the instructions very carefully.
