1982 Dodge W150 truck (6 cyl.)wiring problem

On my 1982 Dodge W150 truck (6 cyl.)there is mounted on the driver's side wheel well behind the battery a 30 amp fuse. One side of the fuse is wired to the positive terminal of the battery.
The other side of the fuse goes to what??. That wire is currently broken and I don't know the location where it terminates. The truck is not currently charging although bot the alternator and regulator are good. If the positive cable is removed from the battery while the engine is running it dies. Voltage across the battery terminals while running is approx. 12.6
Thanks!

It's a fuse link that is designed to blow if there is a short in the charging system. The cable runs from the battery to the alternator output and keeps the battery charged. With the engine running the output sends voltage back to the battery.

I do not know about that, but make sure the large wire on the alternator is going to the positive cable on the battery.

Since I do not have a schematic I am unable to check the continuity for the wire. I thought possibly the unknown. wire on the fuse went to the alternator but I cannot find a location from where it is disconnected. It is not long enough to go directly to the alternator. The wires are bundled and go to various connectors that I cannot see what goes where. Thanks for your effort and help!

Make sure the main wire from the alternator, the large one goes directly to the battery positive and that may be all that it it.

1999 6 cyl. Where Is The evap canister vent solenoid located?

The canister is located under the rear driver's side bumper, behind the rear wheel, above the exhaust pipe, next to the fuel tank. The Canister Vent Solenoid is mounted on the canister toward the rear of the car. The Canister Purge Solenoid is mounted in the front passenger side wheel-well, under the large protective plastic above the tire. The system is connected to the intake manifold on the passenger side just on the engine side of the throttle body. The service port is on the passenger side next to the A/C condenser.
Hope this helps you out

Is the feulpump relay right under the master cylinder on a 93 dodge ram 150 5.2 litter 318 engine w150

My info says, under the hood, driver side, rear of wheel well lining, relay block. Look up wiring diagram for your fuel pump relay, note the wire colors in the diagram, match up the proper wire colors with your relay and you found it. Sorry, I don't have a picture of location.

90 dodge w150 won't start. It is acting like out of time but it is not. Backfires like crazy when trying to start. Replaced computer, ditributor, cap, rotor, wire, plugs, coil, pick-up.

Sounds like firing order or you have moved 1 cyl up or down
on cap
Rule of thumb take out no 1 plug and take off cap put your thumb
over plug hole so you can feel compression stroke if you have timing
marks line them up if you look at the rotor arm this should be no 1
check firing order and away you go

if you are not getting any fire from the coil check the ignition resistor mounted on fire wall. you can have someone to turn key over to start and u can take test light and check both sides of resistor . if no fire on side going to coil (replace it). hope this will help!!!!
