The fuel gauge not working could be the harness that connects to the fuel pump. Its simple to check. Go under the Jeep and wiggle the connection on the harness around. Have someone in your car watching the gauge and see if it starts working again.

The fuel gauge only working sometimes sounds like a problem with a wiring connection. Check the harness that connects to the fuel pump. Its simple to check. Go under the Jeep and wiggle the connection on the harness around. Have someone in your car watching the gauge and see if it starts working again. If thats the problem you'll want to fix that harness if possible, or start looking for a new/used one. If your car is having problems starting, or stalls out on you this is also a sign the harness may need replaced.

The master switch is the most likely cause for the window problem, and the fuel gauge is most likely the fuel sending unit in the fuel tank

Jeeps are really bad for the window regulators going bad. That's your problem. No fix for them, just replace it.

Where is the fuse box located in a 1996 jeep grand cherokee? For the dash. The automatic windows, locks, gas gage and speedometer do not work.

The fuse panel is found on the passenger side of the vehicle. Open the passenger side door and you should see a "fuse access door" on the side of the instrument panel/dash just under the vent.

Try the hazard switch.Do all the blinkers work? This may be a loose connection to the lamp. The window and lock system are on seperate circuits so very unlikely they are related. There is a seperate relay for the blinker and hazards,so a single blinker not working is either bulb or wiring.Widows are operated by motor so check the fuse, wires and and actuating switch. (Door trims off). Also check its not just jammed.Locks, check fuses, switch wires for damage or looseness and the actuator is working.Check the actu. rods are not loose are bent.(need the door trims off for this).Quite a few different things but hope this helps

Sounds like an electrical problem; look for loose, corroded or kinked/broken wires. The problem is most likely in the dash wiring/connections and seems to be pretty common in jeeps.

Fuse for 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Gages (Gas, TAC, Speed etc..)

Well it seems that a leak has shorted out some of the circuits. This may be able to be resolved if nothing has suffered permanent damage, but that will have to be diagnosed by a professional with access to the Jeep. For now, disconnect the battery keep the Jeep in a dry place so the moisture can dissipate.  Use a hair drier or fan to help speed up the drying process.  While this is going on, you will have to search for the source of the leak and get it fixed, the most common area for leaks is around the windshield.  If no permanent damage has been caused, and the moisture is all dried up then you may be ok.
