2002 Chrysler Town and Country Rear Heat/Air only on High

2002 Chrysler Town and Country Rear Heat/Air only works on high. THink it is blower resistor, but don't know the location of it to replace it. Please not the front fan works fine on all speeds. The problem is with the rear fan only.

The resistor is in the inside the rear hatch behind the panel to the right of the hatch opening.

Add a Commentwer trim across the hatch opening must come out firts...A bit of a pain but it does snap out. Same for the side panel, however, you do not need to remove the entire beastie, just enough to get at the resister. Two 8mm screws and on plug, your done! Should be the same as the front resistor (behind the glovebox door)..Just food for thought.

Most of the time the resistor is located downwind of the blower motor so it should be not to fao from the blower motor in the right rear of the van behind the quater trim panel which is the hvac unit is located

The a/c was working but now it only works on high. How can this be fixed? I have a 2002 Chrsyler Town and Country mini van.

The blower only works on high? If so it sounds like you need a new blower motor resistor/module. It will be located on the passenger side behind the glove box.

FAN DOES NOT BLOW AIR OUT ON LOWER SETTINGS ONLY ON HIGH

Need a new blower motor resistor. Check under hood on firewall, on passenger side under cowl, behind strut tower area is usual spot. If not may be on housing/ducting under dash on passenger side near blower motor.

Heater blower only on high

This can be solved by replacing your blower motor resistor which is located under/behind the dash generally in the same area as your controls for the fan. The resistor can be purchased from Advanced for about $23 and should take about 30-45 minutes to replace
