No air coming out of vents and blower motor workS with jumper wireD, 2010 xc 60

a Volvo (must we guess"?) 2010 xc 60???? no air jumper-ed too?
if yes controls bad.
but with all blend door motors dead, air will flow.
there is no blower blocking door/damper ( but Filter)?
no air flows? means what?
hot air?
cold air?
either?
or no ambient air flows. or all.above.?

most cars have at least 3 dampers
MODE (direction)
hot cold, manual control.
recir'/fresh.

case in point, if hot core and AC core are dead
and blower spins you still get ambient cab air flow or fresh.
cab filter clogged up.
I need more facts to know what tests to do.

2008 Ford Edge ac runs only sometimes.... If I hit under the dashboard it will turn on but only blows out a little cold air on the highest setting. If I open the glove box I heat tons of air blowing. I was...

It could be the blower motor resistor or even the blower motor. If you hear the air blowing with the glove box open but, none can be felt, check the cabin air filter. This filter can become clogged with leaves and debris that enter the HVAC box. The filter is located underneath the dash near the blower motor. The reason for some air flow after you hit the dash is it must be clogged and it clears enough to allow for the small amount of air to pass.

Car blows warm air when idling

It sounds like your AC unit could be overheating or even damaged.

AC units have a sensor that will turn them off automatically to prevent damage from overheating. If there is an insufficient amount of air flow, the unit will heat up, and then eventually turn off.

When the car is moving, more air is forced over the unit, likely keeping it cool enough to run, however, when the car come to a stop, it loses that air flow, and quickly heats up. Thus, the AC would work while the vehicle is in motion, and overheat and stop when the car is stopped and idling.

However, the AC unit could be completely blown. The cold air while moving could be just a case of air being forced into the car. Think of a house fan, the fast the wind blows on you, the cooler it gets.... Thus, it could be an illusion that the AC is working when car is in motion, when it really isn't.

Hope this helps.

Air conditioning fan makes loud noise the faster you ru it.

Concerning your broken vent -- this can be caused by a broken linkage or a malfunctioning servo motor as well. these vent have air ducts the sway back and forth to adjust the dual air flow function. if the servo o linkages are malfunctioning or not connected for some reason, it will not allow total control of the air flow and temperature range. Now, if you have a combination of a flow error and temperature error as well, thai can be caused by a combination of the two.

In this case, you will need to inspect the linkages as well as the servo motor function as well. in addition, i would test the air temp sensors for there operational value. they control the temp when you adjust the coll or hot function.

Concerning the Loud noise coming from the blower fan---

This issue can be caused by a misalignment within the blower housing or, it can also be caused by some minor damage within the motor itself, causing it to rotate in a erratic manner, in return, forcing it to rub against the housing itself. the best solution here is to extract this blower fan housing and inspect for lose fan propeller and motor stability. replace parts accordingly.

PLease rate and have a great day:)

Car does not blow air.

For starters, do you hear the blower motor running when you turn the heat on? If it does blow is there any airflow coming from your air vents? If the blower motor runs and there is air flow from the vents there are a few other tiems to check. Veriiffy that the coolant is full, low coolant level will effect the flow of coolant to the heater core. If coolant is full you may have a clogged heater core, or one of the blend doors ( they regulate air flow between the A/C evaperator and your heater core) may be malfunctioning or the control head(temp control) is malfntioning.
