Usually the top big hose off radiator leads to a housing where it is connected. When you pull that hose off motor you should be able to see the thermostat inside after coolant comes out.
Make sure the fans are coming on or it will over heat. If the fans come and the gauge is reading hot check the thermostat. Follow the top radiator hose to the engine block it probably has 2 bolts holding the thermostat housing on.
follow the top rad hose back to engine then start looking their ,honestly dont know never lifted bonnet on one and never seen one except on the TV .I know useless **** --- but follow the hose it has to be either in the top of the engine or stat to block ,in the bottom hose like the ford focus
when the radiator cools of remove the cap on top of the radiator
and check the level make sure is up to full, run the engine and
rich the temp.over 200 check top rad. hose and lower hose, if
top is hot and lower is cool replace thermostat,
yeah its not super hard locate wether the thermostat is at the end of the top hose or bottom hose then remove the two or three bolts holdin the housing on replace the thermostat and the gasket dont over tighten the bolts when outtin the houseing back on it will crack the houseing.coolant will leak out if u dont drain sum before u remove the thermostat housing.hope that helps if u need more info let me know
