Question about Dodge Intrepid
The best thing to do is drive the car down to the local auto parts store and borrow (for free) there On Board Diagnostics OBD II scan tool. This electronic tool hooks up underneath the drivers side steering wheel and it will obtain the error and trouble codes that are causing that light to come on the dash. Write down the code and then look in the back of a Haynes repair book (also available at the auto parts store). Match the error code you have found to the code that is in the repair book. This will save you time and money and pinpoint the exact component that has failed on your vehicle
