Question about 1996 Chevrolet Astro
Check the wireing harness that goes from the door to the inside of the van,it will be covered with a rubber boot that you will likely have to cut to examine the wires. The problem is that after years of twisting everytime the door is opened and closed the wires will eventually break in two.Take of the rubber boot and then the cloth tape and look at each wire carefully and the repair all broken wires by using a splice type connector[they are called a b#tt connector but i can't use that word without it getting x'd out].
