oil viscosity range type. spec. (what oil are you using)?
engine age (older lower)
RPM of engine/pump
engine and oil temperature.
and other factors.

I have a coolent leak in a 2001 jeep grand no coolent in the oil no coolent in the exhaust no oil in the coolent. it leaks 1 gal per 150 miles and i cant find the leak. could it be in the intake manifold and burning all the coolent

Check the type of oil you are using as it clogs the pin in the oil poressure sender unit.

What oil type for 2001 grand chereoke


Mfg recommends 10w 30 I recommend 10w or 20w 40 and if you want to do it better, use a good quality synthetic. Oil alone will not protect the engine...use the best filter you can find.(smallest micron rating). That will keep particles that can wear out parts to a minimum.

Hi, you will have to remove the exhaust first and then drain the engine oil and remove the bolts around the oil pan, then remove it
