It is best to call a locksmith which is cheaper in the long run than messing around with it yourself
You can get a replacement key from any FORD dealership which will cost very much money. They will charge you more than a locksmith will

SOURCE: Ford F150 remote key does not work after car battery

Should not have happened,
For the Factory RKE ( Remote Keyless Entry ) have you tried reprogramming the key fobs to your truck. The procedure is in the owners manual ( need all of them at programming time ).
This is stored in NVR, and should not need to be done, but worth a try.

If this is an aftermarket Remote start / alarm, check the owners manual for t on battery replacement. Have seen some off brand with strange battery ( truck's battery that is ) replacement steps.

SOURCE: 2003 ford f150 power door locks will unlock but

Did you check the fuse for the PDL ? This is engine compartment Fuse #8.
If this is with Either button or the RKE ( if installed ), remove the door panel, and check the lock actuator.
If you want instructions on removing the door, I recommend using Muth Co's signal mirror install directions : www.kwmuth.com. Enter your make & MY, on the product page is a URL to the mirror install directions in PDF, obviously only follow the directions to the point of removing the door panel.,

Once you have the door panel off, apply DC power to the lock, one direction is lock, reverse polarity is unlock.

SOURCE: The key doesn't unlock the

I would think the rod from the key cylinder to the door lock mech is off or broken.

These are pictures from when I put the keypad on my 2001 SuperCrew. The mech could be slightly different, I do not recall if this is different on the SuperCrew vs the SuperCab or Std cab trucks.

Viewed through the door panel opening ( key cylinder already out, you can see the opening rod is straight up by the red )

You can see the rod connected to the key cylinder in the upper left of this picture, down to the door lock. This is what you need to check.

This is a better shot of the key cylinder. The spring clip is removed from the cylinder, that is why it is free in the door. Take note of the way the rod attaches to the cylinder. This is plastic and could be the cause of your symptoms.

This is where I would start considering the door works as normal with the power locks both inside and out.

2003 Ford F150 all doors unlock but wont lock from any switch what is the problem?

This can happen if you leave the key in the ignition, then it won't let you lock the doors electrically, you may be able to lock them manually, but then you will lock your keys inside.

What is the problem why my 2003 Ford F150 all doors unlock but wont lock from any switch?

You may have left the keys in the ignition, then the electric door lock will not lock the doors. Remove the key if it is still in the ignition.

2003 f150 turns over but wont crank, also theft light blinking fast

Usually means the sensor in the lock cylinder is not reading the code in the key.
If the pass key system does not get the right signal from the key the truck will not start.
You might try taking the key off your ring - put it in the lock and turn the switch on - but don't crank it for at least a minute.
There are procedures to reset the anti-theft online - - if you do a search for resetting anti-theft F150 you can read them.

I need a replacement key and have the vin number my local dealership says 2003. Cant drive my truck what can I do?

If you have a lock smith that can program PATS keys, they might come to your house to cut and program 2 new keys, else you will need to tow it to the dealer.

Without 2 keys or the WDS / NGS tools from Ford ( or the locksmith PATS equipment ) you cannot add a key to drive it, it needs to be programmed.

2003 f150 crew 4wd Lost 4WD tranfer case locks

Lift and support the front of the truck so the front wheels are off the ground.
Key on, engage 4x4 and try to turn the front drive shaft.
If it turns it is a problem with the transfer case.
If it doesn't it is a front axle engagement problem.
