If you have checked all the fuses and relays and everything is ok, then start the truck and turn on the a/c from inside cab as you normally would do. Then go out side on passenger side of thuck and you will see a pressure switch mounted on the accumulator, disconnect the plug from the switch. Then insert a jumper wire into the plug, if clutch comes on then you do not hav enough freon or the switch is bad. Inspect for any leak on the system. Hope this will help you.

Got a 2007 2500 dodge p'u the blower doesn't blow at all , is it a fuse and if so what fuse is or is it something else

start by dropping the blower from the air box. the blower is located under the dash above passenger floor board. if there is nothing binding the blower then check the blower with 12 volts be sure to have a good grip in the motor it has some torque on it. if blower checks out then move to the fan switch by the way the only fuse is the one located under the hood marked hvac

The ac in my 2006 dodge 2500 gas engined truck does not blow cold when the engine is at idle. when running normal speeds the air gets cold

start by cleaning or replacing your in cabin air filter. check to see if your AC condenser fan is turning when the AC is turned on. Make sure the front of the radiator is not clogged with bugs, mud, etc. Check AC compressor relay-make sure the compressor clutch is turning the compressor with engine at idle. lastly check for proper refrigerant charge.

2007 dodge 5.9 l diesel AC blow hot air we have recharged the system but still no cold air any ideas

does the compressor clutch energize? this can be determined by listening in the engine compartment for the clutch to engage. there will be a clicking sound along with the engine adjusting rpm's for the added load of the compressor. check fuses and relays. if it is not engaging. the low pressure switch also may be faulty. it tells the compressor to turn on when pressure drops. which is normal. you can test it by using a paper clip to jumper the two terminals in the connector. it is located on the same a/c line as the low pressure fill port, between the evaporator, which is in the passenger compartment, and the compressor. if the fuses and relays are good, and the compressor doesn't cycle when the switch is jumped, change the low pressure switch. fuses and relays can be found in the owners manual. if you haven't got one, download one at
