Start the engine and listen for any vacuum leak by the brake pedal. You may have blown the brake booster
Also when the engine is off press the brake pedal and hold it down firmly. It should stay were its at if good. If slowly moving towards the floorboard it is leaking
Power steering system will need to be thoughly gone through. If you have the electric Power steering pump check the relay and fuse for it. The standard system is hydralic and problems can be seen very easily under the hood with this type such as leaking hoses and steering box & pump leaks

Have a 99 Toyota camry n brake light is on after changing right front brake caliper

Master cylinder fluid piston has entered into a brake safe mode.
when the high pressure brake system is opened in any way, the brake master cylinder piston reaches to the far end of the master cylinder which trips the brake system warning light.

This brake light condition is due to sudden loss of brake fluid pressure on the right front brake caliper assembly during the replacement.

Left rear brake caliper bleed valve will ned to be "opened" until master cylinder piston travels into the opposite direction which "resets" the brake system warning light.

Dot 4 brake fluid recommened for most, but not all vehicles.
Reference vehicle to owners manual for replacement fluid is replaced under master cylinder brake system cap.

2007 BMW 525i warning light (red) looks like a steering wheel with a lock attached car not starting

Its the "EML" warning light in a BMW indicates a problem with the "drive by wire" throttle control system."

That red light indicates u have loss BRAKE FLUiD in ur system and needs to TOP UP the brake master. It also indicates s pressure loss in the brake system and u have to check the FLUiD, LEAK and ur BRAKE PADS!

Check all of these and tell us wut happened!

2002 suzuki grand vitara brake warning goes on and off

Do you have a brake fluid accumulator(ABS)? If yes, the pistons/pulsing assembly are worn, and may need to be replaced.

If not, you may have a vacuum leak in the power booster (located on the firewall). Check all hose and clamps for a tight fit/cracks,etc. Vacuum leaks cause intermittent brake failure lights.

You may want to park the vehicle on a clean surface, pump the brakes a few times, and check for brake fluid leaks. If there is a leaking wheel cylinder (back brakes) , caliper (front brakes), or brake line, you will be able to see it.

Leaks cause pressure loss, and, thus, the brake warning light will illuminate.

Do it yourself brake and power steering fluid flushing/change

As you are bleeding the brakes, start w/the furthest line (right rear), have someone add fluid at the same time. Do right rear, left rear, right front, left front until the fluid runs clear. Power steering, disconnect the low pressure hose to drain the canister. Refill with fluid. Repeat procedure, until fluid is clean.

Inspection light on

The green bar is the service indicator bar. The bar shoulld decrease every 1500/2000 km to indicate still how far you can drive before the next service. It will evetually change to yellow and then red. This means the service is overdue. When my 1995 318 went for a service the dealer reset the indicators to full green bars. A week later the bar was in the red. Some computers are prone to this fault due to low ore loss of battery power. Just make sure the physical km of your inspection is still maintained. BMW SERVICE RESET Take a small wire, paperclip, or elect wire and bend like a horseshoe. No light or equipment necessary Open the diagnostic data port, the one were the little pacman centre is located. Turn the ignition to position 2, don?t start. Connect pin7 always first and then pin 19. Hold for 4 seconds. Remove wire and settings will be reset. Warning if you hold the wire longer than 10 seconds you may reset inspection intervals 1 and 2. I?ve done this twice and it definitely work on my E36
