Tips on replacing the plugs on a 2001 E150 with 5.4L V8

Do you have any tips on getting to the cylinders by the firewall? I can get to the front 4 cylinders on both sides and the back 2, but the cylinders right in the firewall are beyond me at the moment?

How do fix miss firing on the motor number 2 cylinder?

Cars are computerized these days and the sparking system does not use spark plugs any more but rather a spark module. Just like the old spark plug system though when the tip of one of the spark units wears the gap gets too wide and no longer can bridge the gap. These cannot be adjusted. My V8 Caddy engine has a spark module that had this problem so I had to replace the module which holds 4 spark units, one for each of 4 cylinders. There are 2 modules, 1 front and 1 rear. I only had to replace the front module.

1983 f150 351w distributor cap placement

I assume its a V8 and probably a 5.0L

5.0= 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 firing order

5.0 HO and 351 Windsor share 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 firing order

Cylinder numbering:

When looking into the engine bay the number one cylinder should be on your left hand side (left bank) at the front of the engine. The number eight cylinder is on the rear right (right bank) up against the firewall.

3 7
2 6
