When you say stuck, do you mean that 1 and 2 have no function? If so replace the fan speed ballast the is located either in the fan housing or in the duct work right close to the fan so it can be cooled. This component is responsible for dictating voltage/speed of the fan. 2 screws. Very easy.

Why blower fan won't turn off after i turn off ac/heater

You relay switch is stuck on. Replace it. Second thing to check is the fan switch may need to be replaced. If you turn off your engine and then back on does the heater fan go on even when it is turned off at the switch?

Heater a/c control unit not working

what mode, heat or cold?
does fan blow?> no "? then replace the fan fuse.
fan blows on high? yes.
then if A/C ? wanted? why not say? then the green light glows
near A/C switch, does it? y/n
yes the does A/C compressor clutch close? and compressor shaft turn? y/n.?
or its heat you want? not stated.
so no heat, is a whole other list. ill try.
1: engine not hot, not 180f min. and holding (y/n)
2: cab fan dead.
3: heater core not hot, (feel the hose there both must be hot)
4: damper stuck closed blocking heater core.

Heating fan switch not working

cab heater? there are 3 fans, engine, cab heat and A/C. so....
a stuck CAB switch is a bad switch. easy huh?
if the switch only works on high but does move, that is a bad heater fan Resistor block. (usually bolted to fan hosing as it is air cooled this part)

I was plowing, pushed up to the snowbank, Got stuck because the 4 wheel drive was not working any longer. Also the heater fan stopped, and the engine will not crank over, also the brake lights work

I think you are in the right direction when you say you checked ground connections. When you used your test light for that yellow wire, you simply completed an alternate path to ground and it enabled you to start the vehicle. i would look for a common connection that would affect the 4 wheel drive, the "starting" circuit as well as the heater fan. It has to be a severed ground connection. Sorry, that's all I can offer. Let me know and good luck.

Ac/heater fan switch problem on a 2006 jeep commander

next to the fan motor there should be a connector that has three or four wires that attached to the blower resistor. it should have two screws holding it to heater case, just pull it out and replace.

Blower motor for heater only works on high....what do you think I need to change. Relay or Resistor.

If the heater only works on the high setting, your problem is the heater fan resistor, not the relay.

Four wheel drive will not engage on 94 1500 where is the fuse for the actuator

Does you heater fan work? For many years Chevy used the same fuse for the 4 wheel drive actuator as for the heater fan. Which I found rather stupid because, if the actuator shorts out and blows the fuse, now your stuck in a snow bank with no heat.
