Question about 1990 Mazda MX-5
Probably only once every 2 weeks or so engine will miss then stop all together .No spark to plugs .Will come right after two or three minutes.Motor is in a MGTF special with an after market link computer
I have seen this problem on other cars and has usually been the ignition module, on the mazda its called the ignitor, aproblem with this module stops the coil pack from working therefore no spark. the module seems to fail when the heat creates an open circuit, then when cools down some times only a couple of minutes and resumes to normal.
I hope this helps you with your problem
