2000 Mustang now running after reading several post, and thanks to all.

1) Downloaded instructions and reset the key.
2) Inserted starter fuid into card intake and engine getting spark.
3) Attempted reset of fuel pump cut off switch, and it did not need resetting.
4) Later, checked voltage in fuel pump cut off switch. Now here is what I think happened. I had difficulity holding light and attemptinng to get the probe into the short wiring to the connector. The first check did not show voltage as near as I can tell. Then I presume I touched the wires together briefly, as the computer gave some dings. In any event, reinserted the wiring plug back into the cut
off switch, and the auto started!!! Now, either the wiring on the cutoff switch lost connectivity or I jolted the CCRM connection into functioning for now. Essense, as stated above, check to make sure the fuel pump is getting 12 volts through all means available.

The fuel system reset is located in the trunk on the drivers side just forward of the tail light behind the trunk liner.
You can go to this website and down load a manual for your car to get the fuse information. It starts on page 159, I was unable to copy the manual to the FixYa site.

Where is the fuel pump fuse location 91 pontiac sunbird

What motor? Fuse is located in a different place on the 4cyl. vs. the V6. The four cylinder fuse is in the fuse box under the dash. The V6 engine the fuse is in a in line fuse holder next to the fuel pump relay under the hood, diverside rear at the firewall, there may be a plastic cover on the relay and fuse.

Where is the fuse for a 2001 ford 4.6litre mustang(fuel fuse)

The fuse for the fuel pump is located in the power distribution box/fuse box located in the engine compartment. It is in the number 14 position and should be a 20 amp fuse (see picture below of the fuse layout). Also, I don't know if you have checked this or not but there is a fuel pump cut off switch located in the trunk of the vehicle. I gave you a picture of its location in the second picture below. This should all be in your owners manual if you have one. If you do not and would like a copy, you can email me at with your make, model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. I hope this helps you and good luck.

Where is the fuel pump relay on 1998 mustang???? Exact location???? thanks for your help.

First thing to note is that the relay is housed in a Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM). This module contains the relay for the Fuel Pump, Cooling Fan, and Air Conditioning Clutch.

In our 1998 Mustang V6, the location of the CCRM is behind the passenger side wheel well plastic cover. Looking at the wheel dead on - it's found at around the 1 o'clock position. To confirm it's location without removing any plastic wheel well cover - pop the hood, and look for a wire harness routing from the engine compartment INTO the passenger side front fender (near the air cleaner). Flash a light in there, and you'll see a connector attached to the module.

I'll save you some headaches in finding the right size tool to remove the connector as well - I used a 5mm nut wrench to remove the connector from the module. Do this first so that you can access one of the two bolts that holds the module bracket to the fender. user_offline.gif found this at the allfordmustangs web site. hope this helps

My fuel pump wont turn on, on my 94 v6 mustang.

If the Pump relay under the hood is still good, the fuse under the hood and inside the vehicle are not blown then the pump is faulty, replace the pump. If you need clarification on where any of these fuses or relays, the location changes almost every year, are I recommend that you get the Haynes repair manual on your vehicle.

Fuel pump location and replacement

You are looking for the constant control relay module- ( CCRM ) see below. The pump will be located inside the fuel tank. Most of the time , its the pump and not the relay but, it wouldn't hurt to check the relay out. Teh relay is housed in the CCRM. Its located behind the engine coolant reservoir.
