changed spark plugs and it is missing more now - 58887048Nissan has a coil on plug design, double check that you installed the factory recommended plug. Check each coil for arching against the head by looking at it for little electrical burn marks. These cars are also know to have bad harness connector problems at the injectors and coil plugs. Also, using an ohm meter, check the resistance of your injectors. Thay may or may not be operating properly.10 - 14 Ohms.

Plugs may have been dropped at the store, I see this all the time. The insulators get cracked and you can't really see, but they're bad. Replace the plugs and be sure the electrodes have not been smashed together. Also, never install them on the end of an extension and socket, they can be damaged by the weight of your tools if you hit something on the way into the hole. If access is difficult, use a piece of rubber fuel hose to hold the plug while you spin it in by hand and then torque it properly with your tools.

I bought a used 1995 for escort. it has a miss an is getting worse. i changed the spark plugs. i took the spark plug wires off one at a time. 3 of them made the miss worse and 1 did nothing. it's

Not without more testing.
It could be a fuel problem or something mechanical like a valve.
You would do a compression test next to verify all 4 cylinders have normal compression.
If they do, and that 4th plug wire was providing spark to the plug, I would expect you to find something going on with the injector.

Has a mist in motor

A miss or mist? If it is mist, possibly radiator hose, heater hose, oil sending unit. What kind of fluid is it? If it is a miss then first thing would be change the spark plugs if they haven't been changed in a while. If it keeps missing after that try pulling the spark plug wires one at a time with some spark plug wire pliers. If you pull one and it doesn't make a difference then that is the cylinder that isn't working. Put a spark plug in that wire and see if it is firing by grounding the base of spark plug and watching it. If it doesn't fire first try putting on a spark plug wire, if that doesn't fix it, you must have a bad coil pack. If you have spark when doing the test above then maybe an injector that isn't working. Please rate my answer so I am rewarded points for it.

Missing under load, When accerating or climbing a hill my LOW milage 4runner is starting to miss. what could it be? Spark plugs or ?

Start with the simple things first. When was the last time you had a complete tune up? "Missing" could indicate bad spark plugs, bad spark plug wires, or bad cylinders. Change the plugs first, then go from there.

Engine missing on occasion when accelerating.

missing on occasion? you changed the plugs? was it missing before are after you changed the plugs? Missing is usually caused by a spark failing to jump across the spark plug gap.i would first look for a broken spark plug insulator. Secondly, bad spark plug wires ( if you re-used them the connector might have pulled off the wire internally) also look at the coil and distributor for cracks or other problems if the plugs and wires check out ok .
