Take off center grease caps get a pair of needle nose pliers and channel locks. one big nut and its comes off. put bearings back in the way they came out. very easy. nut that holds hub on only needs to be lightly tightened

2003 Mustang Workshop Manual
Remove the U-washer (4N237).
Carefully remove the rear brake anti-lock sensor. For additional information, refer to Section 206-09A .
Remove the axle shaft.
Rear Wheel Bearing and Axle Shaft Oil Seal Removal
Using the special tools, remove the rear wheel bearing and wheel bearing oil seal.
Install the two axle shafts.
Install the U-washer.
Install the differential pinion shaft.

It isn't a particularly hard job but there are a few techniques that you need to know.
I wouldn't recommend you do it yourself but I would recommend you do it under supervision of someone who knows their stuff.
Retensioning the bearings correctly is extremely important.

not press fitted, standard tapered bearings, if 4X4 it is a little more involved, just dont misplace any of the smaller parts and you will be fine.
