When use of blinker the car shuts off and wont start

wires are shorting out in the streeing coulm you may have to remove the sterring wheel and pick thru the steering colum and replace the turn signal mechanism and wirering etc, to fix the short.

anyway i cant say for sure this is whats happening, but its likely.
it really depends on the year and model car some cars are known for theses problems check with the dealer about you particular car

I have one idea, but keep in mind that I am miles away, so don't be too critical of me!

I had a similar problem with a Dodge Durango. The fix was the battery. I had very similar symptoms, and when the battery was replaced, PRESTO! The problem was gone. If you are able, have the battery replaced/or at least checked. You can have the battery checked for free at any major parts store like AUTOZONE.

Good luck, and keep us updated!
