Coil d would be coil 4 right hand side back, there is no actual spec listed for resistance, and i would simply test another coil to compare to , i would also swap coil four to another cylinder to see if the code follows that coil. That would be the quickest way to determine if the coil is at fault. Please rate this answer if you are satisfied, if not please ask me for more info. Thank you RJ

Trouble codes P0354 and P0356

P0354 = Ignition Coil "D" circuit
P0356 = Ignition Coil "F" circuit

Inspect spark plugs first.

Then, measure/test your HT leads to ensure they are within spec.

If the above proves ok, then suspect a bad coil pack.

P0354 Ignition Coil D Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction This is what the scantool came up with on my 2001 Jaguar s-type 3.0 Car has been idling funny but will get cruising on the highway.

this code is saying you have a failing ignition coil..You will have to swap them and determine which one is is the procedure.. DTC P0354; RANDOM MISFIRE DETECTED, MISFIRE DETECTED, (CYLINDERS 1-8) IGNITION COIL PRIMARY CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION, (CYLINDERS 1-8)

  1. Swap the suspect coil for a known good unit.
  2. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.
- Does the same DTC reoccur? The DTC will indicate if the same cylinder is misfiring. -> Yes
INSTALL a new coil. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

-> No

  1. Disconnect the relevant ignition coil electrical connector(s), (PI02 to PI09).
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  3. Make sure the ignition relay is energised.
  4. Measure the voltage between:
- Is the resistance greater than 5 ohms? -> Yes
REPAIR the high resistance circuit. CLEAR the DTCs. TEST the system for normal operation.

Hi have 05 lincoln LS has engine code P0354 but i change ignition coil cy4 to 5 but still same code what i have to do

P0354 Ignition Coil D Primary/Secondary Circuit

The wiring may be bad to the cylinder, but changing the coil position and getting same code means that the coil itself is not bad.

Engine codes P0354 P0351 engine skips low power

These codes are for a malfunctioning ignition coil/s.
P0351= ignition coil A primary/secondary circuit malfunction.
P0354= ignition coil D primary/secondary circuit malfunction.
visually check the coil packs for burn marks, damage, loose wire connectors, and the wire harness to each of the coils for damage. How long has this been happening? Has any work been done recently? Did the engine compartment recently get wet?
