You need to replace the harmonic balancer. That is the part that is causing your problem. It attachs to the crankshaft and is made of 2 pieces of steel connected with a piece of rubber. It is all bonded together so if it comes apart the only fix is to replace it. You should be able to get a new one at your autoparts store or a used one at a scrap yard.
You will need a special puller to get it off. You can get it at the auto parts store for about $35-$45. It looks like a Y with an extra leg and comes with an assortment of bolts. You may also be able to rent or borrow it there. Some auto parts store have tools that you can use when you buy the parts there. The inner part of the balancer will have bolt holes where the puller fastens.Fasten it on and turn the center bolt inuntil it's tight. If the balancer doesn't want to move then give the center bolt a sharp rap with a hammer and tighten some more. Repeat if necessary. Clean off the crank with some emery cloth before you put the new balancer on and tighten the bolts. A couple hours should have you back on the road. Hope this helps.
