The location for the relay is in under the cowl cover grille. The first thing is to remove the negative wire from the negative side of battery. Then remove both windshield wiper arms (by using a small screw driver and prying up on the plastic cap); mark the location for the wiper arm and remove the nut from the center of arm. Then remove screws holding the cowl cover grille in place and the relay is located just under the grille. Using a small screwdriver pry loose connector from relay. Note there is two types of relays for this car, a non a/c and a a/c relay. Do not get them mixed up when getting new part. Assembly is the reverse of removal. Hope this will help you.

I need to locate my blower motor resistor on my 1999 S-10. do u know where it is located on my s-10?

The resistor is located under the hood on the passenger side. At the back of the engine compartment you need to locate the airbox it can be identified by a circular piece that's right beside the fender on the firewall (this is your blower motor) to the right if it (looking from the front of the truck) about 4 -6" you will see a wire plug. Unplug this connector and locate the four screws that attach it to the air box. Remove these screws and pull the resistor from the housing.

Hope helps (remember to rate this answer).

My 94 Sundance heater/AC blower motor has quit. I've bought a new resister, but cannot find where it's located. Any help?

The blower motor resistor is located in the same duct that the blower motor blows through. If you see the blower motor, within a foot of it is the resistor. The blower motor actually blows over the resistor to keep it cool. The blower motor is usually only in 1 of 2 different locations. On passenger side, access under the hood or under dash access behind glovebox. In both cases the resitor will be in the duct that the blower motor blows through.

Air conditioning and blowers not working, fuse blows immediatley after changing. there was a clicking noise heard before fuse blew. No display on dash unit. (2000 passat 1.9TDi Sport)

Try unplugging the blower resistor, located under the passenger side, under dash area, put a new fuse in and see if the fuse opens (blows). If it does not blow then unplug the blower located in roughly the same are and plug the resistor back in if it blows then it the resistor if not it's most likely the blower motor.
If the fuse blows when both resistor and the motor is unplugged the you need to unplug the a/c head unit and see if it still blows(open fuse)
Hope this helps

Air and heat dont blow hard any more

Sounds like you have a bad blower moter resistor.
The resistor assembly is located on the heater box module
under the dash near the blower moter. Hope this helps.

Heat

A component called a Resistor located near the blower motor controls the blowers speed. it has a plug and a couple of screws to remove. Replace this Resistor. It is usually located in between the wiring and the blower. Sometimes mounted on the blower motor itself. It can be a little hard to remove because of limited space under the dash.

A/c heater fan no blow

sounds to me like the blower motor resistor, and if I'm not mistaken the resistor and the blower motor are located under the dash on the passengers side. the resistor should have a wiring connection and 2 screws attaching it to the blower case. The a/c and heater blower will not work if the resistor goes out. hope this helps you out a little. Best wishes.

The problem is the blower motor speed control resistor, it is located near the blower motor in the housing.
