Hello, my name is Ben. The truth is you can't get both HP and MPG from any chip. To get increased HP you must use more fuel. And you can totally forget those chips that promise a 50HP gain, that's just not gonna happen. As for increased MPG, your driving style will determine that more than the engine configuration. Just a side note, acceleration from a standing stop accounts for 60% of fuel usage. Okay, all that considered, if you can afford to go with a custom tune you will get the most gains for your vehicle. Many people like Power Hungry Performance. I like them because they don't make outrageous claims. The bottom line is that old saying "you get what you pay for". I hope I have helped you a bit, if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Considering buying one with 160k on it & needs a new clutch. Wonder how many miles we can expect out of it.

Depends on how well it was taken care of.
It is easy to get parts for and work on, so you could keep it running probably as long as you cared to.
The weakest link in cars are the automatic transmissions, so you don't have to worry about that.
The engine is probably going to get tired around 220k miles, but even that can easily be replaced with a salvage one for about $1500.
At least you know the clutch should be good for another 160k.
Brakes last about every 90k, and cost about $250.
CV joints and axles go about every 150K and cost about $300.
It depends on finding good mechanics that you trust more than anything else.

Is my truck 1/2 ton or 3/4?

Hi Kimberly. I have the same model. The F-250 is a 3/4 ton truck, and more than capable of pulling your horse trailer safely.
