There are several steps:
1. Take out the center cup-holder (it pops out with a little tug upward). unscrew the 2 screws.

2. On the shifter (lower part) there is a cover that covers 2 screws, unscrew and remove the shifter knob.

3.Take a pick tool and lift the shifter bezel console (black) it also pops up.. there are 3 or 4 connecters (disconnect with a small flat head screwdriver)

4. Once the shift cover is removed, there are several screws and tabs holding the bezel trim down unscrew the screws and lift bezel trim up,

5. Disconnect the ash-tray (blue connector)

6. Disconnect the hazard signal control , volume control connector and the climate control connector.( On the left side)

7. There are 4 screws holding the the radio and climate unit cage to the dash frame. (unscrew)

8. Now it gets a little tight, pull the unit towards you slightly and disconnect to connectors for the climate control unit (on top) and the factroy radio (on the bottom).

9. Next remove the radio and climate control unit from the cage(screws on the sides).

Sounds like you need to have the valve guides replaced. This repair requires the engine to be taken apart. If the car is high miles then you might consider a rebuilt engine.

I've lost all power to my radio in my 92 lexus sc400 or it just is'nt coming on I checked all fuses and even the wires under the back seat but everything was fine. So i was wondering if there was...

Will probably have to pull radio out, and check if the power wire into radio has current or not. Use a test light or voltmeter. Key on, should have a hot wire to radio. All I can think of. good luck.

1995 Lexus SC400 V8 Engine. Everything is bone stock. Automatic Transmission. All of a sudden my Speedometer and Tachometer just don't move. It's at number 0. It does however lights up fine, it...

Since both gauges died at the same time, I would suspect either a connector issue with the dash cluster, or a signal issue from the computer. The RPM signal originates at the ignition and the speedo signal at the VSS. The likelyhood of those both dying at the same time is very slim. An easy way to check is to attach a scan tool and check in the computer for an RPM signal (running) and a VSS signal while driving.

Hope this was helpful!

My 1995 jeep grand cherokee loredo is leaking on the passanger side floor board and is going all the way to the back seat what could it be and how can i fix the problem

If the leak is anti freeze, it's coming from your heater core under dash pasenger side! It is extremely dificult to get to the heater core in a grand cherokee you have to take apart the entire dahboard. I'm told that if you get it apart you might as well install a new ac condenser as well because you won't ever want to take it apart again. How to directions easily found on internet for do it yourselfers or the labor fee will be outrageous if you pay someone to do it!

I need instructions for replacement of 1995 lexus sc400 spark plug wires.

http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/ignition/sparkplugs.html

This should help, I did mine yesterday, it is a piece of cake... just make sure you have a good spark plug socket that fits VERY snugly on the extension, and make sure you have a LONG extension for the socket... I have a 10 inch one, and I wish I used one that was longer for the back plugs on each side... Oh, and be careful to not crack the plugs in there by over tightening them... I know that it says its for an LS400 but they both have 1UZ-FE engines so its the same thing...

And make sure to spend the extra money for the Good Plugs and Wires... I got NKG's for my '93 SC400... well worth it...
