Question about 1995 Honda Civic

The replacement radiator for my 1995 civic hb

The replacement radiator I purchased for my 1995 civic hb "engine code D15B7" comes with 2 extra fittings for lines at the bottom of the rad that the original rad don't have. Can I use this rad? do i have to cap off those fittings? or are they separate from the antifreeze chamber? if they were not capped off would engine coolant leak from them?

thanks

It is the oil cooler for automatic trasmisson if you don't have a automatic it won't leak the oil cooler is part of the radiator and is built for automatic and non automatic. If you want to put pipe plugs in them then by all means do so,

What is the correct way to put a new head gasket on a d15b7 engine honda block?

By using a repair manual. Removing and replacing a
head gasket can be done but you need the step by step
instructions, which are numerous. Also try and buy
the parts from Honda. May come in a kit form.

1995 honda civic d15b7 cranks but wont start. new

Are you sure you have correct timing? its definetly a fule problem, if timing is good then turn your key to the on position and try to listin for the fule pump to prime. While the key is in on position go to fuel rail, there is a valve on fule rail called sharader valve. Get a small screw driver and press valve in to check if car has fule pressure. if pressure is present then it is incorrect timing or possible bad cam sensor.

95 Civic with D15B7 1.5 16 valve engine

tap them lighty on each side with a small hammer and take two phillips screwdrivers and put them into the two bolt holes on each cap squeeze the two screwdrivers together and pull back and forth and side to side, also make sure you have all the bolts out of the caps before proceding with this there are little dowels under each cap that center them they are stuck at the bottom you may also try a very fine flat screwdriver to pry up on the caps on the bottom you could carefully tap it in under the cap with a small hammer, please rate -jeff
