Hi: You'll Need a Floor Jack ,Jack Stands, To Keep it Safe ,Loosen Lug Nuts on Front Wheels Before You Jack it up. Then After Tires are Off, You'll need a 3/8 Inch Either a Allen L-Shaped Wrench or Even better and i Recommend you Use a 3/8 Inch Socket Type Allen Wrench,Using this you'll need a Ratchet to Fit the 3/8 Inch Socket Allen ,This Allen Socket is needed to Break Loose your Caliper Hold Down Bolts,There Located on Back Side of Caliper Theres On 2 of Them. Then You'll Rock the Caliper Back and Fort until it Comes out of the Caliper Bracket. If its Stubborn you Might Need to Use a Large Screw Driver to get Sme Leveage Under the Caliper to Get it Off.The You'll see the 2-Pads ,HERE Look and See which Pad goes in the Back Side Of Caliper and Which one to The Front Side.Normally the Pad With a Spring Like Tab Goes on The Inside And That Tab Fits into the Caliper Piston. Then you'll Need a Large C-Clamp To Compress the Caliper Piston Flush or Even With The Caliper Housing. You can Use 1 of the Old Pads To Tighten and Compress the Piston Back. The Old Pad you Use will be used on The Piston Side. As Far as Tools Thats Really ALL you'll Need. T\Let Me know How I Helped you By Voting on My Solution i Sent You. Thanks the WYOCWBOY

Stalling and brakes wont work properly on 1999 chevy monte carlo

Stalling, could be fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, fuel injectors. Brakes, could be air in lines, defective calipers and pads. Remove one wheel and check the thickness of the pad and look for any leaks. I you intend to replace the pads you will need certain tools, antinseizing compound, and high temp break grease.

Ignition switch replacement 1983 monte carlo

you have to take off the steering wheel.if you dont have the right tools to do so i would not attempt it.the turn signal switch has to be moved it just pulls over the end of the column.then there is a torx head screw at about 1 oclock in the column that has to be removed.and the ign.just pulls out.the dimmer switch is kinda tricky.a locksmith usually dont charge to much to do this would probably cost you more to buy the tools you need to do it yourself
