Hi under the seat you have a sensor that detects when you sit down its like a pressure pad sort of thing, also some vehicles are fitted with a sensor in the seatbelt clip, when you put the seat belt on and clip it in then it knows you are in the seat...hope this helps

HI, I have a code 43 flashing and I am wondering if it makes sense to start by looking at the connections under the seat for the sensor. There is only one connector under there and only three wires in the connector. Thought that might be for the power seats.. Thanks

Airbad error code 47

For a 99 626, the service information says that code '7' is for the passenger side airbag module. I know that your question says that you have a code '47', but the information has codes 1 / 2 / 3 / 6 / 7 / 11 / 12. It states "replace SAS module for codes not listed." The SAS module is the main airbag computer.

Cant find keyhole or switch to turn my airbags off in my mazda 6

The airbag system in this car is second generation smart airbags, there is no switch, if the weight in the passenger seat is not at least 50 pounds (there is a sensor in the seat cushion) the airbag is switched off to the paassenger seat, but small children should always be in a approved child seat in the back seat anyway.

Hey,
take a look at www.airbagmodul.com

They're working in Airbag-Simulators, Occupancy Sensor-Simulators and Seat Belt-Sensors.
