Check your rack and pinion this is a very common issue on all dodge vehicles. The rack and pinions go out then you are unable to turn one way or the other.

Changed my front passenger side brake caliper on my 2000 dodge 3500. i have bled the brakes, but now i dont have power steering. how do i get it back?

These systems are not related to one another in any way. the best thing to do is start off on a full diagnostic of the power steering system. Start with the fluid level, belt tension then check to see if the pump is bad. the rack would be my next target if all of those are checking out.

To test the power steering pump:
Open the power steering reservoir.
Have some one turn the wheel from left to right slowly there should be motion in the power steering reservoir.

testing the steering rack:
while turning the steering wheel from left to right listen for mechanical noises from the rack.

good luck,
Zim

2005 Dodge Ram 3500 dually, 108,000 kms. has developed shimmy in steering wheel, left to right of center approx 1 inch. Sudden onset. Original tires, evenly worn at this point.

the front tyres are deformed with the sun by the sound of it ,yes tread looks ok but after a few years tyres do deform and go out of round, this is a fairly common problem especially here in spain where its nearly always sunshine ,except today which is why iam answering questions on here as too cold and wet outside .Anyway jack vehicle up and spin wheel and you will see what i mean

Noise right front wheel sounds like wheel bearing, 1998 Dodge 3500 Van

try steering the the car to the right and the left while driving down the road. listen for the noise to get louder or quieter as you steer the car. which ever direction you steer and it gets louder it will be the bearing on the other side. for example if you turn right and it gets louder its the left bearing because you have just shifted the vechical weight to the left side by turning right. and also in that same situation the bearing would get quieter because you have just unloaded the left bearing and put the weight to the right side.
