Question about 1997 Toyota Camry

1997 Camry Vienta 3.0 litre revs high at startup

I have a 1997 Camry Vienta 3.0 litre that revs at about 2200rpm on cold starts. When it has warmed up properly it revs at about 800 rpm. Is there a choke or something that can be adjusted?

To give you a simple answer, no. My advice is to take it to an A level technician for diagnostics. Sounds like you could have some sensors misreading.

Idles at 900 rpm but when cold revs up to 2200rpm not all of the time some times stals

Your automatic choke is in need of adjustment.

Should be about 2200 when cold and 900 when warmed up. It is not stepping down properly. EZ fix.

1994 toyota camry 2.2L. When i start the car the iddle. Is at 1100, then when is warm it goes down to 800 RPMs it feels like is going cut-off, is the normal or what i need to fix? felp please

That sounds about right to me. It needs slightly higher revs on a cold start and then should gradually drop to about 800 when engine has warmed up.

What is the normal idle for a 1997 Avalon at start up

1100 to 1300 is normal on a cold start. May want to see if a vacuum leak has developed or if the throttle plate is sticking open when it is cold.

1997 acura cl 2.2 revs up to 1500 rpm and down to 1000 rpm just several seconds after start

Cars are design to run at a higher idle at start up to warm them up quick. There is a sensor that reads water temperature and tells your car's computer how fast to idle. Your RPMs seem slightly high but not out of the norm. Does idle ever drop to around 600/800 after about a minute? If not, your engine temperature sensor maybe defective.
