Intermittent ac pt cruiser 2008

Check low side pressure or try bypassing low pressure switch with a paper clip in the connector. If pressure is good but bypass works, you need a new pressure switch. If pressure is low, charge the system. If pressure and presxure switch are good, please get back to me and I'll do some research.

Oil pressure sensors won't keep the car from starting. Have the complete car codes read. Security light on?

2007 chrysler pt cruiser cooling fan does not work with ac

If refrigerant is low , high side pressure may not be high enough to engage the pressure switch to kick on the fans. Have the a/c system evac'd and recharged to capacity then recheck fan operation. Also, extreme cold weather can reduce high side pressure on a fully charged system preventing fans from coming on.

Where is the power steering sensor located on a pt cruiser

i have changed the pressure sensor switch on my 2001 PT Cruiser (B). to find it you will have to put the car on ramps and go under the car until your under the cross member (right behind the front wheel) it will be just behind the cross member closer to the driver side wheel. remember once you remove the sensor gravity will work against you and power steering fluid will pour out of the sensor hole. and when under a car there is really no place to go and if your not careful you will have to resign yourself to being covered in fluid. good luck!

06 pt cruiser dtc p0108,p0113,p0123,and p0508 car will not start

P0108 (M)
Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
MAP sensor input above maximum acceptable voltage.

P0113 (M)
Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input
Intake air (charge) temperature sensor input above the maximum acceptable voltage.

P0508 (M)

Idle Air Control Motor Circuit input below acceptable current.

THESE DIFNITIONS ARE FROM THE FACTORY REPAIR MANUAL, LOOKS LIKE YOU MAY HAVE A WIRING HARNESS PROBLEM OR DISCONNECTED COMPONENTS, CHECK THE IAT AND MAP SENSOR AN MAKE SURE THEY ARE CONNECTED.

I changed the battery and still have a no start. Guages light up, then nothing when I turn key to start.

It is important to check teh oil. Low oil means low oil pressure and the car will not start. Try that good luck
