I have a 1988 Ford Bronco II that will run for a few minutes then shuts down. I let the engine cool and I can restart it. I get engine codes # 18 and 21.

code 18 is ignition diagnostic monitor failure. code 21 is engine coolant temp sensor self test out of range. i'd start with the coolant temp sensor

Rough idle up and down 1988 ford bronco has a new Idle Air Control Valve was thinking it could be the MAP sensor or the coolant temp sensor anyway tho check either of these.

Try discoonecting the battery for a few minutes, and then reconnect and drive it, it may have to "relearn" proper idle speed.

The fuel pump will not shut off after i turn the engine off on a 1988 ford bronco II

fuel pump relay is stuck in the "on" position. Replace the relay. It will be located under the hood in the engine bay amongst the fuses. You could probably feel for the "hot" one or just start pullin them out one by one and reinstalling them and see which one kills the pump motor.

Runs 1 hour dies let few minutes will restart then repeats same.

Sounds like your ignition coil is going bad.  I believe you can have those checked for free at your local auto parts store.  When they start to go bad they will fail on you when they get hot but once they cool down they are good to go again.  Let me know if you have any other questions.  Thank for rating my response and for using FixYa!
