Question about 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier

Open Question

I have a 2003 chevy caviler 2.2 L my air conditioner kicks on and off all the time, I had to replace a broken motor mount, then my car was throwing a po113 code whitch is the air intake sensor, so i replaced that twice and then replace the plug to the sensor, now my car is still throwing the same code, and also will not idle it jumps up and down sometimes it will die other time still running but has no power when you try to accelotate, poor gas milage , shifts in to gear hard , and will take off with out you. we have changed the fuel filter, the air intake sensor. throttle position sensor , maf sensor, and idle control sensor. and none of this has helped. what else could it be?

SOURCE: I have a chevy silverado - 5.7 engine. It runs

Remove the air cleaner and look into the throttle body and see if there is gas coming out both injectors. If only one is working then switch the wire connector from one injector to the other. This will tell you if the injector is bad or if it is not getting a signal.Check for good vacuum at a good vacuum port.Should be close to 20 inches of vac.If not then this could be a good sign of bad timing or plugged converter.Hope this helps.Good luck.

SOURCE: 1994 chevy with 5.7 L

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak. When the engine is cold the leak is there but as the engine warms up the parts start to expand thus closing the gaps and sealing the leak. I had this problem on my personal vehicle and it turned out to be lower intake gaskets.

SOURCE: what causes a 1994 chevy

is the check engine on? are there any trouble codes? one posible cause would be a restricted fuel filter, a worn fuel pump, or a restricted exhaust system.

2003 chevy silverado air does not blow through vents. Condenser works. Pipes are cold. Fan works. Modular (next to fan) repalced to get fan to work. Heater air conditioner controls under radio replaced....

The air vents are control by vacuum line and or linkage.

Listen for hiss or feel for vacuum leak under the dash,

Feel for broken linkage(s) that are close to the vents.

WORK BACKWARD if you have small hands to feel out where is the missing link.
