I am not sure of the year of your vehicle, but if the wires from the module works, why not just replace the module? Either the relay or the module is most likely the issue corroded fuses or a bad/dirty switch assembly could also cause the issue. For great specific mercedes troubleshooting go to

Bad connection in the wires or faulty window switch .
I replaced my regulator ,thats all the items that lift the glass up .Only to find i had a bad connection . You need to check the power to the motor that lifts the window glass up first . If the 12 volts are there then motor is shot . If motor turns and window is not operating the drive is gear worn .

One day the power window would not roll down but the power locks on the same side work fine.It also will not roll down withe the button on the drivers side.. 2005 GMC Envoy

The power locks have absolutely nothing to do with the power windows - totally different circuits.

The FIRST thing to check is to make sure that the window lockout button on the driver's door control switch is not turned on. This will keep all of the windows from operating except the driver's window.

Other than that, there are several things that can cause a power window to not roll down. It can be a power window lift motor, a window regulator, the window switches, or any of the wiring in between. Also, you did not mention which window is not working. BOTH of the FRONT windows are equipped with Door Control Modules (DCM) which, in turn, are controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM). If it is the front window you are talking about, it will be necessary to scan your BCM for fault codes to determine the source of the problem. If it is one of the rear windows, this can be checked by regular electrical testing and a scanner should not be necessary.

your cars system is powered and controled by an ECU ( electronic control unit or computer box) the program is malfunctioning by then, have ur car checked using a scan tool with parameters designed for your cars ECU to check the sensors it might only needs reprogramming rather than buying a very expensive computer box.

All of a sudden the driver side window will not roll up.

is it electric windows? if it has electric windows does the passenger window roll up using the switch for it on the passenger door panel? if it works on the passenger door panel and not on the driver's door panel , then your switch on the drivers door panel is bad... replace it.
