Question about 2001 Dodge Neon
Check for a vacuum leak on the hoses and intake manifold. Check the mounting bolts for the throttle body on truck for looseness. Take some spray injector cleaner and spray inside the throttle body to remove any build-up inside. If everything is good then remove the IAC (idle air control valve from the backside of throttle body) to check for carbon bild up and possible faulty valve.Once removed if the little pintle is sticking out more than 1 in. then replace valve. Hope this will help.
