Question about 2002 Ford SVT Focus
Hello,It's normal for the cat to get hot - given they've replaced everything
(just about) that could cause your problem - they have not looked at
the injectors and O2 sensors. If you had something burning in the
engine bay it was most likely electrical and you should look for burnt
wires. You probably have a short in the ignition system or fuel
injector wire harness. It's nearly impossible to diagnose a problem like
this without having the car first hand. It must be throwing check
engine light codes
