2007 kia rondo brake light fuse keeps burning out. replaced the brake light switch already. any idea what would cause this? its a 15 amp fuse can i replace with a 20 amp? ty

yes you can but only if you want to burn the wire harness.
fuses burn to prevent damage to the harness and setting the car on fire and the correct fix is to find the dead short after the fuse
check that you have the correct bulbs in the stop lights because if a single point contact has been used in a double contact holder that is a dead short
check for damaged wires or screws that have cut through the wires

1 brake light doesn't work... good bulb and fuse

Lights are usually on a dual circuit! Left and right have separate fuses, check all fuses or check the fuse diagram on fuse cover or manual to identify correct fuse!

Fuse for brake lights keeps burning out

If at this time you haven't really damaged your truck, do this. It doesn't matter which way you go, you must check your wire for a bad SHORT. Your brake light wire is pinched,or rubbing on metal. Remove the wire, don't use 30 amp if 20 amp is correct. If you've done any work on your truck that involved wiring, look in that area. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

My lights dont turn on when i push my brakes

FIRST CHECK AND SEE IF YOU HAVE POWER TO THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH ,IF IT DOES MASH THE BRAKE PEDAL AND SEE IF BOTH WIRES HAVE POWER WITH IT MASHED DOWN IF NOT THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH IS BAD ,BUT IF IT DOES HAVE POWER ON BOTH SIDES WITH IT MASHED ,BUT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE POWER TO THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH AT ALL CHECK THE BRAKE LIGHT FUSE IN THE FUSE BOX ,THEN CHECK YOUR TIL LIGHT BULBS NEXT ,IF IT IS NOT ONE OF THE OTHERS.

I have a 98 Ford Taurus -- turn signals work, but no brake lights when brake pedal is pushed? Does this sound like a fuse, switch or bulb problem?

i had the same problem in my ranger, check fuses, wires, possibly one bulb is bad, i had to rewire mine because of a burnt wire.

I would check the fuses, they are marked but check all fuses that pertain to any kind of lamp or light, sometimes if one fuse burns out it burns out other fuses.
