you must make sure the compressor is working first. if not coming on(and or cycling). may need to be charge up, with r134/refrigerant. or it has a elecetrical problem.

96 dodge stratus I flushed cooling system but still getting a lot of pressure after car warms up .it blows back to overflow

System was not filled right. There are air pockets still in the upper parts of the engine head. You need to be sure the entire contents of coolant are put back into the system. Amclaussen.

You need R134-a refrigerant with PAG oil for your HVAC system (part number F7AZ-19589-DA) . The capacity is as follows:

With auxiliary climate control:

64 oz R134-a refrigerant
13 oz PAG oil

Without auxiliary climate control:

44 oz R134-a refrigerant
9 oz PAG oil

How much 134a does it take to fill the system on

Hi
The R134 capicity for your truck is 64oz with rear a/c.
If the system hoses have been disconnected or if you
are replacing any of the system components ie.
compresor/condenser or reciever drier. It is importent
to evacuate the system to remove any moisture from the system before charging, to avoid problems down
the road, I recommend taking it to somone that has
the proper equipment to ensure all moisture is removed and it gets the proper oil charge and won't
get air bound, plus any leaks that remain will be detected. A proper evacuation and charge can be the
difference between luke warm and COLD air.
Hope this helps.

Air condition warm air. put in coolant freon but still warm air. water pump replaced. still the same.

If it has climate control, the blended air door module behind the glovebox maybe the problem. It is stuck on the hot side.

first the a/c system need to be put into a vacuum before you add r134. how much r134 does you system need? too much or too little will both get you warm air. does the compressor come on? air in the system will get you warm air too.

good luck

Which of the 2 refrigerant ports is the low side and did it come with R134?

The low side is the one that goes to the evaporator. Sometimes is marked with L for low or an S for suction side. If the ports are bi and has inside threads is certain R134.
