You;ll have to bleed your Brake System, The Proper way to Bleed your Brakes is to 1st of all get a Buddy or someone to Sit in Car and Push your Brake Pedal down and Hold it there until you Have Opened the Bleeder Valve on your Brake Calipers.Start at the Rear Pasenger which is farthest from your Master Cylinder,Get the Right Size Bleeder Wrench ,If you don't Have 1 You Local Parts Supplier Should. Back to the Bleeding Process Have your Help Just PUSH the BRAKE PEDAL down (DON"T HAVE THEM PUMP IT IT WILL JUST CAUSE IT TO GET AIR INTO YOUR BRAKE SYSTEM,AND LEAVE THE ENGINE OFF DURING BLEEDING ! After You Get Clear Fluid from each Bleeder Valve Tighten it Up and Move to Next.(NOTE KEEP CHECKING your MASTER CYLINDER to keep it Full at All Times while Bleeding or you'll get Air in the System And KEEP The Master Cylinder Cap on Also. Next one to Bleed is Drivers Side Rea, Then Passenger Side Front and Last is Drivers Side .This Should Bring your Brake Pedal Up to give you BrakesIf ALL the rest of your systems Components are correctly working you should be Ready to Test.Hope This Has Helped You. Please Let Me Know by Voting for My Assistance i've Given You. Thank You -From the WYOCWBOY

How do I remove rear brake disc 2009 berlingo

jack up rear wheel making sure you place a choc in front of front wheel, remove the wheel, remove the brake caliper there will be 2 bolts at back of brake disc you will then be able to undo then centre nut to remove the disc , if replacing disc it is best practise to replace both sides and renew the pads at the same time

My brakes are squeaking

Remove brake pads..front. Deglaze discs and pads and use created on the back of the pads.
Discs must be grease free.
When installed and sensor fitted, ensure sliders are free before pumping brake pedal a few times.
Road test and remember to bedcin brakes again for 500 miles

Just bought rover metro 1.1 brakes not good do i

Take the car to quickfit, they will do a free brake check and,if required,fit front pads,rear shoes.Metro not good at breaking anyway,stops wheels from locking too quick....also as your car is fairly old change the discs as well.will make all the difference.

Brake pad warning light on golf gti 1.8t 1999 t reg

Brake wear indicator and low brake fluid warning indication are two different circuits.

They are not related.

==
Easy route to check brake pads is the measure the gab between the rotor and the metal portion of the brake pad.

If it's low then replace it.
==

The right way is to pull the tires and measure the thickness of the remaining brake pad.

===

Most shop give free brake inspection with oil change,

Check it out before the pad cuts into the rotor and it will DOUBLE the cost of your brake job.

Rover 45 rear brake pad renewal (caliper problem)

you have to fitt the caliper realy tight to get a good hand brake..remove the caliper..With pads in place. Press the brake to push out the piston.Only a little.Then replace the caliper with it realy tight onto pads.Then work the handbrake up and down a few times then you should be ok.Dont worrie about the brake being a bit tight.Just take it for a short run then.It will losen up.The handbrake is self adjusting.
