A yellow oil can with sensor means the sensor is out. A red oil can means the oil pressure is low.

Could u tell me tha problem wit my 03 impala tha message saying trunk open and check engine oil..and now my check engine light on thy done test on it an it said sumin bout n oxygen sensor.

What about O2 sensor ? is there a code ? There are several DTC'S for O2 sensors . Did you check the oil an is it full ? The IPC illuminates the LOW ENG OIL LEVEL indicator in the message center when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects low engine oil level, and the signal circuit is high. The IPC receives a class 2 message requesting illumination from the PCM.
Is the trunk open ? if not you need to have it checked out ,could need a Rear Compartment Lid Ajar Indicator Switch Replacement .
Your best bet would be to take your vehicle to a ASE certified repair facility .

I have a Ford Focus (TAW) 1400 cc Gasoline from 2001. In the middle of a journey suddenly I lost power, the yellow warning light of the engine, started flashing, and it seems my car lost a cylinder....

Hi Adrian, Have a diagnostic scan carried out to pin point the area of the problem. When the 'engine check' becomes illuminated it is indicating an electronic management problem. It could be related to a defective ignition coil or coils or a defective camshaft or crankshaft sensor. Take it for a scan. Regards John

Oil level and oil temperature are normal. Oil

Same here....I soon had the same problem after changing the oil..Found out after many tests and research that auto parts stores cross reference a lot of audi oil filters to the vw counterparts..Which do fit audi, but are shorter and lack the oil capacity to feed the engine. Then the pressure light pops on!!!! make sure the larger/longer oe type is installed. If your not sure buy it from audi its not much more than the napa brand.

Oil indicator on BMW 318 2001

Hi , is the colour of the warning light red or yellow, red would be for oil pressure , yellow would be for oil level , but you may find that the oil level sensor has become faulty, reagrds mark

OIL SENSOR LIGHT ON 2001 Audi 2.8liter

It could simply be maybe the person changing your oil never reset the light? or you have a oil pressure sensor leaking or not working.
most of the time its someone never reset the oil change light. even before it goes on it goes by mileage, so maybe it didnt go off yet cause you cnahged it a tad noone even tried to reset it.

I guess you could have an oil pressure problem, but thats going the extreme route.. but if nothing else shows that could be a problem.
