There is no easy way
You must drain the fuel tank and remove the tank to get to the fuel pump
Disconnect the ground from the battery
Remove the straps and the lines to the top
Disconnect the electrical lines
Drop the tank down
Remove the locking retaining nut
Pull out the sender with the pump
Reverse to reinstall

How do you change the oil pump in a 1995 chevy lumina 3100

You must remove the oil pan. I do not think you can do this with the engine in the car. If you can remvove the pan from the bottom without engine removal, it would be easy. Most every engine has to be removed to fully remove the oilpan. So my solution is- remove engine, remove oilpan, remove pump, replace pump, pan, and engine.

I have a 1995 Chevy Lumina i change the fuel pump and the security light came on and now it won't start

what happened is the chip inside your key communicates to a little security box behind your glove box and if someone tries to hotwire your car it sends a signal to the fuel pump to shut down cutting of your fuel system by changing the fuel pump it has messed the communication up if you havent already i would suggest unplugging your battery for thirty minutes im thinking your battery did not get uplugged during installation causing this problem but not positive if that does not work then you can try going to pull a part or something and getting another ignition switch and security box (you must have both from the same vehicle) and make sure your battery is completely disconnected when you install them if not you can see about getting it reset (cost more) but if you change the ignition switch you can rent a steering wheel puller its not hard to change the ignition switch just take your time look it up on youtube makes it easy good luck

Where is the fuel pump cutoff switch for 1995 chevy lumina

There is no cutoff switch on most GM products. If the pump is not coming on, it likely has failed. The tank will need to be dropped to replace the pump. Let me know if you need anything else.

Where can I go to find out to change the fuel pump in my chevy lumina 1995?

The best place to start is in a Haynes Repair manual or a Chilton's repair manual on your vehicle. These are available at your local auto parts stores.

On my 1995 Chevy Lumina I replaced the battery, starter, fuel line and & filter but it still won't crank up, what could be the issue?

it could be the pump. have someone turn the key but not start and listen by the tank for a short 1 to 2 second hum. If you hear nothing then your pump is bad and you will need to remove the gas tank.

1995 lumina cranks but will not start

Does it have the anti-theft system, if so check for the two wires that go to the ignition switch and make sure they are not broken. If they are they will need to be fixed in order to get it too run again
