Question about 2001 Lincoln LS
Autozone is a parts store ,to my knowledge. They may have repair facilities,Iam unaware of. Most people go there to have codes pulled. Then you know ,no more than when you got there, because they don't give you a discription of the code.
Unless you have decades of auto technology and experience, you can not even begin to work on a Lincoln LS. It, as are all vehicles since 1980, mostly electronically controlled.
I have a 2004 LS and all the factory manuals. I will guide you ,if you give me codes, drivability symptoms etc. To be as honest as I can be,personally I wouldn't even recommend you open the hood, other than to check fluids. It is one of Ford most complicated vehicles.
