How do I remove a relay (not a fuse) from the 2005 s-type fuse box? It doesn't seem to want to just pull out but I don't want to use excessive force.

no problem to grab it with needle nosed pliers and just wiggle it up and off. dont squeeze too tight just enough to hold on to it.

How to change relay fuse in toyota camry 1995

After you locate the relay, just pull it straight up and out. It is the same way as removing a fuse. Good-Day! most relays are in under hood fuse box.

How do you get fuse box off bar to remove battery

brasssyslv, There are three bolts holding the bar in place. Two in front and one in the back. To get at the back bolt, remove the plastic triangle shaped cover by pulling it straight up. When you remove these bolts, grab the bar and turn it 90 degrees either way and pull it straight out. Now the only thing holding the fuse box in is either a 10mm bolt or a plastic push pin. Remove it and place the box aside while you change the battery. Good luck with this.

I dont have my owners manual for my 1996 jeep cherokee anymore, and i need to look at the fuse box diagram. do you have a picture of the fuse box under the dash on the driuver side?

  1. Using a fuse puller remove the defective fuse from the fuse panel.
  2. Install a new fuse of the proper rating (amperage) in the fuse panel.

Fig. 1: Lift the lid off of the Power Distribution Center
(PDC). The fuse and relay identifications should be illustrated on the underside
    of the box lid

Fig. 2: The large fuses can be lifted out by hand

Fig. 3: The smaller fuses may require the use of a special fuse
    puller tool

Fig. 4: The relays in the PDC box can be removed simply by
    pulling straight up

Hello and welcome to FIxYa. Please allow us to assist you.

The AC MAG CL relay is just a press fit into the connectioin the relay box. It does, however, fit rather tightly. First purchase a replacemet AC Magnet Clutch relay at your nearby Toyota dealership. Tell the parts guy that you want the UPDATED relay, the one that Toyota has produced a technical service bulletin on, they will have the bulletin on file, and will most likely have the new relay on the shelf, this is a common replacement item.

Since you are removing a defective relay, use pliers and grab the sides and pull straight up. Just make sure that the key is not in the ignition when you do this; to avoid any short-circuits.
