Question about 1998 Honda Civic

Honda civic 1988 wont start stopped just after starting has power to all non-ignition circuits - horn / headlights / brakes / etc but no dash lights / no solenoid ignition click starter and solenoid 10 amp fuses all - OK

I'd check the distributor for spark, those year Honda's had alot of problems with the distributors. Also, I would check the multi-relay, under the dash, on the driver side, on the far left of the dash.

My 95 honda civic wont start, no inside lights or dash lights come on, my battery is brand new. the only thing that works are the brake lights and the horn works, what could be the problem?


check for corroded wires under the main fuse box follow the positive wire it should lead you to the problem could also be a bad ignition switch

Help! my car is possessed


i may be wrong at this but i think it's your alarm system. headlights, doors and horn all connects to an alarm system (if your alarm system does this) i mean, some alarms, when you unlock or lock your car, the lights turn and horn blows simultaneously with the alarm. if you have an alarm system that seem to malfunction, it may also affect your doors, horn lights etc. have it checked or replaced.

well, as ive said, i may be wrong. =)
