1998 outback sport, only work done recently was changing spark plugs and had a lube job last week.
YOU SHOULD CHECK THE SPACING ON THE PLUG ELECTRODE (TIP),,THESE CAN EFFECT THE RUNNING,TOMUCH SPACE,MISSING,TO LITTLE SAME.ALSO COULD BE AIR INTAKE SENSOR,,IT OFTEN HAPPENS..TAKE IT OUT AND CLEAN IT ,GENTLY OR REPLACE,IF IT IS DIFFERENCE RIGHT AWAY

It is not unlikely a plug wire got put back on on the wrong plug. These cars will still run with a few plugs wrong.
