First of all, which motor size is this? It would help to know which liter size it is and which torque specs you are looking for.
You can go to autozone.com and register for free. Then login, choose vehicle, then click on view repair manual for free online repair manual for your car. I can look this info up for you if I know the liter size and which specs you are looking for.

What specific torque specifications are you looking for? What component of the vehicle? Wheel lugs, head bolts, etc?

  • NOT ME May 29, 2010

The lug nuts should be torqued to 80 lb/ft if that is what you are asking about.

Head bolts = 1 - Torque to 18 ft/lbs Steps 2 - Turn 90 degrees Steps 3 - turn 90 degrees Steps 4 - turn 90 degrees Recheck final torque in sequence. Main caps = Torque sequence Step 1: Torque to 37 Ft/Lbs Step 2: Turn an additional 45 degrees Step 3: Turn an additional 15 degrees. Rod bearings = Step 1: Torque 25 lb/ft Step 2: Turn and additional 45 Degrees Step 3: Turn an additional 15 degrees. Cam sprocket should be around 45 ft lbs.

Recently service my daewoo leganza sx head also repaird since i get the car i found with in two minutes the temperature goes high coolant system is perfect do i have to adjust the valve clearance

are you getting sufficient flow through the cooling system,i.e. clogged radiator, bad water pump, stuck thermostat. also when the head was repaired , was it pressure test for cracks? valves out of adjustment will cause the engine to run poorly but not overheat.

Hi, I have read your answer to toping up the GearBox Oil on my, 1998 Daewoo Leganza SX manual transmission, But still cannot find the Filler Hole?

Hi,
The filler hole is on the side of the transmission, you could distinguish the hole by the screw plug.
The screw plug is sometimes a square screw or a square hole, it's near the left side axle shaft.
Hope that helped you out!

What size/kind of battery do i need for a 2000 daewoo leganza sx?

Any parts store and Walmart can tell you the exact battery that will fit your Daewoo. Walmart sells a very good battery in the Everstart MAXX battery. They will also remove your old battery and install the new one for free.

Can anyone tell me if there is a diy code reader that fits a 99 daewoo leganza

There are lots of them...you can find them at Autozone, Sears, or any large parts store.

Your 1999 Daewoo is OBII compliant, so the scanner does not need to be for you specific brand of vehicle, you simply need an OBII code scanner or scan tool.

Gear OIL in Daewoo Leganza SX manual transmission

CHECKING FLUID LEVEL
1. With the vehicle on a level surface and the fluid in the transaxle cold, remove the filler plug and check the fluid level. The fluid should come to the bottom edge of the plug hole.
2. If the level is low, add SAE 80 manual transaxle fluid through the filler plug hole until the fluid begins to run out.
3. Reinstall the filler plug and tighten it securely. The speed gears and the synchronizer parts on this vehicle receive lubrication through specific passages in the mainshaft. It takes 1.8 liters (1.90 quarts) to fill the transaxle completely.
its located next to drive shaft some on left hand side others on right hand side depending what gearbox.
